UPDATE ON MY NEW WORK FROM HOME BUSINESS

So, if you have been following me, you know that I have found this great opportunity with this great team, Team GDI Pro. I have been with them about 9 days now. I was told I would get FREE advertising and 24/7 support. All of that has held true. The Team is advertising for me as well as for themselves and I am getting FREE traffic to my site via Safelists and Traffic Exchanges. I have found the Safelists are working better for me and are a little easier to follow.

So far I have gotten 2 prospects. Not 2 signups, but 2 prospects. Some on the team get 1 prospect a day, some get 5 a week, some get 3 a week. It's all in how much you want to work the system.....I want money so I'm working the system HARD. I had been down in the dumps until I logged in today. The first day I have gotten prospects and I had 2 there. I have contacted them and am awaiting to see if they follow through to signing up.

This is my thought. I'm sending out 200,000 plus ads a day (easy to do, don't freak out). No one has time to read their emails everyday so some of these ads may not get read today, tomorrow, maybe not even this week but they will get read. If someone's interest is peaked, they will fill out my form and become a prospect. I take over from there with our wonderful Team and it's 24/7 support. I can send them to a chat room where someone from our Team is always there 24/7 to answer questions even if i'm not. Everyone on this team are so friendly and helpful.

So, the Team claims that the system works and if we work the system the potential is $10,000 a month by 3 months. Yes there is FREE advertising but you've got to work the system as well and do your own FREE advertising. So, no money yet but I remain VERY optimistic. I'll explain the income opportunity in my next post.

BUSY FINDING FREE STUFF!

Wow, ever since discovering this new Team GDI Pro, I've been having so much fun finding FREE stuff! I've been non-stop promoting my new business with all of these FREE Safelists and Traffic Exchanges....who knew you could get so much FREE advertising and I had always heard people complaining about how much they were spending on Google advertising. I think I'll stick with FREE for now! I don't have any results to share with you yet with my new Team GDI Pro business but I hope to update everyone tomorrow with some positive results.

Advertising Your Home Based Business

You should never have to pay to advertise your home based business. You can use Safelists or Traffic Exchanges which are all free services. Now... you can spend your money and pay... but for right now, let's just keep it FREE!

Let's take a look at the different types of advertising, both of which can be obtained for FREE:

SAFELISTS:

Basically, a safelist is a group of people all willing to receive each others promotions via email --in the hopes that their promotion will generate more business. In other words, safelists are many, many "marketers" that have agreed to receive each others email. The drawback is that everyone is trying to sell and no one wants to buy. Some do buy, however, and that's your market. You just need something that other "marketers" will want or need. Currently, there are many tens of thousands of members to various safelists, and some are more effective than others. Every single safelist member had to agree to receive your email. That makes these lists “safer” than simply mass-emailing (i.e. spam)

By definition then, that means that safelists are what is known as "opt-in". Opt-in is when:

• People actively choose to receive your message by signing up somehow
• People can opt-out or unsubscribe from the list at any time

The best type of opt-in lists are known as double opt-in lists. The difference is that after a person signs up for the list, they MUST reply to an email to be activated. This cuts down on programs spamming the list with false emails and also guarantees that someone DID actually want to sign up.

So how does opt-in email benefit you as the marketer?

It enables you to get your message out to thousands of potential customers every single day (in some cases) --without being accused of SPAM. SPAM is a big NO-NO... regardless of what anyone might tell you

TRAFFIC EXCHANGES:

A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.

Exchanges enforce a certain credit ration, which illustrates the amount of websites the surfer must view in order to receive one hit through the program for their promoted website. Many sites offer the ability to upgrade one's membership level for a more equal credit ratio.

As the viewers are all website owners or affiliates, it is possible that some might find certain member sites interesting and thus make note of them on their own sites, sending more traffic their way. Most traffic programs also impose a time limit when members are browsing, ranging from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. Some incorporate the use of captcha to ensure user interaction.

Almost all traffic exchange programs are free, although many of them offer special features to paid members and offer credits for purchase. Almost all traffic exchange programs encourage users to build their own referral networks, which in turn increases the referrers' amount of credits.

The traffic generated in a traffic exchange can be leveraged by using a downline builder to assist the user in building a referral network in the many different traffic exchanges.

In practice, traffic exchange programs are generally used by small business owners or marketers who either want free advertising or use the exchange programs for low-budget advertisement campaigns.

I sat back after I read that and said....."that does sound crazy." Then my brain took over and said....."what if it is for real Laurie." Well, I had tried everything else, right?

So here I went again, I gave up my first GDI account and followed the links above.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES!!!!

No wonder I could never make it on the internet in any of these other opportunities! I WAS TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!!!

DEATH OF A SPIDERWEB

If you will go back to the beginning of my Blog, I told you that you were coming along with me on this adventure of finding legitimate work at home opportunities. I knew it would be a wild ride. I tried so hard to make The Spiderweb System work. My Guru Techie friends tried so hard to make The SpiderWeb System work. We advertised, did free traffic, bought traffic, etc. It just didn't work. Yes, it is still in Beta but for us, it just didn't work. Now I know the founder is making tons of money off of it because of all the people signing up for it. Yeah for him! But, not for us. So, this is a Eulogy to The SpiderWeb System. It was a good ride and I did learn a lot about marketing and doing things Free because we are all about Free on this Blog. So for that, I tip my hat to you little SpiderWeb.

MAKING MORE MONEY VIA FREE OPPORTUNITIES

I stated yesterday that I sure was excited about the day's research and the new site I unearthed! Wait no more! First thing I want to say is once again, it's FREEEEEE!!!

Let me introduce you to RevResponse. RevResponse is a B2B site. For those of you that need a definition, B2B is a term often used to describe websites that sell services to other businesses. A business is serving other businesses as opposed to consumers.

I weeded through countless articles, publications and the site itself (to which I have given my thumbs up to and joined) before posting. Most of the reading I did was pretty technical stuff. I'm going to lay it out to you in layman's terms and get straight to the point.

First of all you must be a site owner of business related content to sign up for RevResponse. That can be a Blog, Website, URL, etc. about a certain business or businesses in general. For those of you that follow my Blog you know that I do business with work from home opportunities that legitimately do work! That's my business! So, we, me, being a "publisher" either of a website or a Blog, with business related content, can apply to RevResponse to be a partner with them. You can also think of RevResponse as an alternative to AdSense. You have to pay for Adsense. Again, RevResponse is FREE!

What Kinds of Services Does RevResponse Work With? There are many different FREE resources through RevResponse. Resources range from podcasts and white papers to real magazine subscriptions. Remember these are business related FREE resources, not Vogue or Women's Day or anything like that! Magazine & downloads are broken down into about 30 different industries. Some examples are: internet technology, computers, retail businesses, transportation, and small businesses just to name a few.

How Does All of This Work? You sign up with RevResponse for FREE. Your application is reviewed and you are responded to through email within 24 hours. Once approved (for FREE),

You can get as specific as you would like with your advertising. Let's say your business is only dealing with computers. You could actually advertise only those resources dealing with computers. You wouldn't want to advertise a "Transportation" resource on your site about "Computers." Visitors, like ourselves LOVE FREE STUFF and this is not just any free stuff this is resources which will add value to their own businesses.

I've only just signed up for RevResponse but already in setting my pages up I can tell you that their customer support administrators are lightening fast and have more knowledge than I'll ever attest to having about the ins and outs of setting up computer generated sites, pages & HTML codes. So basically if I can do it, you can do it!

In addition to getting payments from RevResponse for getting sign-ups to their FREE resources, they also have a partner Referral System. You probably won't believe this next line but I checked it out and it is true! The referral program pays 20% of the earnings that a referral partner generates for the first six months of their partnership! So, if I not only got Jane Doe to sign-up for a free resource or two, and she was so impressed by the site that she signed on to be an advertising partner as I am, I would make 20% earnings on everything she made for the next six months! Wow!
